ABSTRACT
The article presents a survey, sponsored by Travelers Global Technology, on the possible risk of social media to businesses in the U.S. in 2009. The survey showed that two-thirds of respondents stated that they either not aware of a social-media policy or they did not have one at their company. It revealed that 25% of the adults surveyed think information placed online can have professional damage.
