ABSTRACT
This article discusses the importance of effective communication in achieving leadership success. It notes the link between one's income and career advancement and one's ability to communicate and persuade. The four temperament styles of individuals are aggressive, expressive, passive or analytical. For a leader to influence colleagues and customers, there is a need to recognize each of these distinct behavioral styles and adapt accordingly. Included is a list of words that can be used when presenting to a worker buying style.
