The article reports on the impact of the bilateral relations between Lithuania and Russia Federation on the economy of the former. It notes that Lithuania President Dalia Grybauskaite and Russian President Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev have agreed to deepen co-operation in trade, economic, and cultural spheres. Moreover, it mentions that the bilateral trade between the two states has increased the Lithuanian economy from 3.7 billion U.S. dollars in 2004 to 13.2 billion U.S. dollars in 2008.
