Working Links wins jobseeking support contract

The article reports on the announcement by Working Links, a welfare-to-work organization, as of September 10, 2009, to hire additional 340 consultants in the next three months. The move followed after the group confirmed a government contract that would aid unemployed people in finding work. The contract, which forms part of the Flexible New Deal program, will cover four areas, including North Yorkshire, Devon and Cornwall, Humber and Tees Valley. The training team at Working Links had been preparing for three months for the incoming recruits.
