ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the re-emergence of the 'gateway' to bridge between MPEG transport and internet protocol (IP) transport. It mentions that this 'gateway' serves as an elixir for the devices in any part of the television. Some terms related to 'gateway' such as MPEG and Data over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) are also discussed.
