Country Report

The government plans to invoke the internal security act (ISA) during the summit scheduled for October 21-25, 2009 in Phetchaburi's Cha-am district and Hua Hin district in Prachuap Khiri Khan. The increase in the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce's (UTCC) consumer confidence index in August 2007 is indicative of easing economic conditions.
