ABSTRACT
The article discusses the use of patented call-recording and speech-analytics software by the Chester County, Pennsylvania Department of Energy Services. The technology was developed by Verint Systems and is on its test run in Chester County. The benefits and function of the software are described including its investigative value, ability to detect changes in voice inflection, and ability to identify 911 calls about a single incident.
