ABSTRACT
The article focuses on "Reasons to Run" research, a survey of runners across seven European countries, executed by the research institute Synovate. The research asked more than 3,500 runners in Great Britain, France, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany to reveal the reason behind their actions, making it the biggest study of its kind ever. In the survey, 54% said they run for fitness while 40% claimed they run to lose weight.
