ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the result of the research conducted by Skandia Investment Group regarding influence of hedge funds and institutional managers in the retail marketplace in Great Britain. The study revealed that almost two-thirds of fund managers are expecting the use of performance fees which could widen their influence in the retail market. Gavin Haynes, managing director of Whitechurch Securities Ltd., states that the company is looking forward to launch funds with performance fees.
