ABSTRACT
The article informs that Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. and Toyo Tire USA Inc. have commented on the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) proposal to levy stiff tariffs against U.S. passenger and light truck tire imports. They said that their plants in the U.S. and Canada couldn't take up the slack left by a lack of Chinese tire imports. Cooper Tire and Toyo Tire have become the first tire manufactures to comment on the proposal of ITC.
