ABSTRACT
This section presents news briefs on nicotine and tobacco research. One research indicated differences in perceptions among adolescents who are regular and occasional smokers. Another study revealed the link between smoking and unsupervised time with peers among adolescents. One study showed that partial smoking bans are ineffective.
