ABSTRACT
The article presents labor-related studies at the Institute of Labor Economics of San Diego State University in California as of 1976. The similarities and differences between colored and white unemployment in Great Britain is being investigated by Adam Gifford. Another research deals with the stimulation of the labor force. Third is the effort of Clinton E. Jencks to determine the history of hard-rock miners in the U.S. from 1863 through the period of the Western Federation of Miners.
