ABSTRACT
The article informs that Soft-World International, Taiwan's largest developer and distributor of online games, made record sales during the economic slump. According to Soft-World Chairman Wang Chin-Po, Taiwan suffered its worst-ever recession following the onset of global economic troubles last September, but during that time Internet-based games jumped out to become a very important recreational outlet for people to kill time at home or at work.
