ABSTRACT
The article compares the efficiency of biofuels and other fossil fuels. According to reliable figures which are emerging from studies, biofuels can be significantly more efficient and result in lower greenhouse gas emissions than liquid fossil fuels. It informs about the energy required to produce the two varieties of fuels, and the energy contained in them.
