ABSTRACT
The article discusses research which compared the accuracy of screening among cancer centers that offered clinical breast examination (CBE) in addition to mammography with centers offering mammography only. Researchers used a cohort of women within the Ontario Breast Screening Program screened between January 2002 to December 2003. Findings revealed that sensitivity of referrals was higher for women who were screened both by CBE and mammography. The researchers suggests the accuracy of CBE and its potential for improvement.
