ABSTRACT
The article discusses the study conducted by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) regarding the National Exercise Program (NEP) and the interagency partnership involvement of the Northern Command (NORTHCOM) in the U.S. It states that GAO has examined the guidance and postexercise documentation of NORTHCOM to determine its mission preparedness. It adds that GAO found out that NORTHCOM has a strong exercise program but needs more improvement in terms of integration.
