ABSTRACT
The article discusses the prevailing anti-white racism in Hawaii. It notes cases of racial assaults which were ignored by Hawaiian authorities. It cites the history of racial conflict in Hawaii which began when English explorer captain James Cook and his crew clashed with the locals and was intensified when Queen Liliuokalani left her throne under pressure of European and U.S. motivation to colonize Hawaii. The Hawaii's celebration anniversary as the 50th state on August 21, 2009 is mentioned.
