ABSTRACT
The article presents information on various festivals and carnivals that are perfect tourist attractions for different cities around the world in which they are held. A spectacular sight for visitors in Venice, Italy is the Venice Carnival to be held during February 6-16, 2010. Visitors can see the lion dances during the Chinese New Year held on February 14 each year in Hong Kong, China. Colorful parades accompanies New Orleans' Mardi Gras celebrations held on February 16, 2010 in Louisiana.
