ABSTRACT
The article reports that Google Inc.'s Gmail service had gone down for about two hours that Google states was due to overloaded servers caused by outage. Gmail uses cloud computing in which the data resides on servers around the internet. The cloud computing is stated to be the future for data and applications and many companies are reportedly betting on it including the Google's Chrome operating system and Microsoft Corp.'s Office 2010, though the outage casts doubts on the cloud's reliability.
