The article reports on the two new American National Standards released by the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) Standards and Guidelines Commission in the U.S. in December 2008 and March 2009. In notes that ASIS had already five standards and two guidelines in various phases and development. It also mentions volunteer voting and observer membership to get involved with ASIS Standards and Guidelines.
