ABSTRACT
The article offers the author's insights on unexpected plans in life. He relates his sudden change of career from being an officer of the U.S. Air Force up to being an editor of the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) Publications after the death of his best friend Cliff Crase. He says that good management skills are transferable and vary only in technology. The death of several contributors to the mobility of people with disabilities including Ken McRight and Wade Harris is included.
