ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the Veterans Day, a celebration for the veterans in the U.S. It states that the legal holiday is celebrated annually at exactly 11:00 a.m. of November 11. It is formerly known as Armistice Day, proclaimed by former U.S. President Woodrow Wilson in 1919 and was named as a federal holiday when former U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower signed the legislation for changing the day on June 1, 1954. The way of celebrating the holiday is discussed.
