It states that Goyal had decided to install 175 economy seats on Boeing 737-800s while getting away with the business class seats and stopping free meals. Raj Sevakumar of Jet Airline's, states that the plane began filling 75% of their seats and kept expenses down as customers have to pay for their own meals.
