ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the sound equipments used by the band Kings of Leon in their performances. The band engineers Brent Rawlings and Wayne Sargeant say that their mixing of sounds are straight ahead and has no fancy effects. Rawlings uses compressions for subgroups and stereo masters that recognize the guitars without the painful sounds. Sargeant uses a tech talk system that adapts the sound of drum and guitars into his ear mix to check that all members have a smooth running show. INSET: MIC SELECTIONS.
