ABSTRACT
The article profiles Elie Maman, a producer/engineer in New York City. It says that Maman has established his mark producing rock, hip hop and pop such as cable commercials and a song for "The Lowdown on Rob and Big" of MTV Networks. It notes that Maman set up the initial arrangement for the song "You Already Know," by rapper David rush at his home studio in Brooklyn. Maman notes the importance of credibility as well as credit and stresses that producers should always fight for credit.
