The article focuses on the importance of irreversibility in quantum information theory. It has been cited that irreversibility is used in analyzing the entanglement properties of noisy quantum states. Quantum information applications use entanglement as one of its key resource. The entangled state of two quantum bits are useful for cryptographic purposes.
