ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the lighthouses at Lake Champlain in New York some of which were built as early as 1826. The Cumberland Head Light was constructed by Peter Comstock in 1838 while the Split Rock lighthouse was approved for construction by the U.S. Congress in 1832 as the second lighthouse in the lake. Also mentioned are the Point Au Roche lighthouse, the Crown Point lighthouse and the Barber's Point lighthouse.
