The standard is otherwise known as Performance Rating of Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Multi-Split Air-Conditioning and Heat Pump Equipment. It applies to matched variable refrigerant flow multi-split air-conditioners and multi-split heat pumps using distributed refrigerant technology.
