ABSTRACT
The article reports on the strategic plan of Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union (PSECU) to rebuild its capital by investing on the efficiency of cost-effective branchless model. According to PSECU chief executive officer (CEO) Greg Smith, the CU has established its capital at about 9% early in 2009, but has dropped to 7.5% after the corporate assessment. He further mentions that the CU has regained a 2.6% operating expense ratio after it has utilized its online banking system.
