Albertsons to Close Nine Stores

The article reports that Albertsons LLC plans to close nine stores in Colorado and Florida, as well as a distribution center in Colorado after August 2009. The company stated that the stores had not been profitable for sometime. It will continue the operation of 26 locations in Colorado, and will supply them from its main Southwest Division warehouse in Tolleson, Arizona, where its regional headquarters are also located.
