ABSTRACT
The article discusses solutions and preventions for laboratory diagnosis of diarrhoeal diseases. It notes a study of the oral whole-cell/recombinant B-subunit cholera vaccine (WC/rBS), Dukoral, to prevent travellers' diarrhoea (TD). It mentions the experiment for the identification of the effectiveness of freeze-drying in line with the risk of consuming improperly washed raw fruits and vegetables. The functionality of stool microscopy for the diagnosis of intestinal amoebiasis is cited.
