Australian Auto Action;8/26/2009, Issue 1355, p36
The article reports that because Oran Park raceway in Sydney, New South Wales is closing in December 2009, Eastern Creek International Raceway is left as the only metropolitan racetrack in Sydney, New South Wales. There are plans to expand the area and to build the Eastern Creek area into the centre of motor racing for Sydney and New South Wales. The idea is to move the Parramatta Speedway out to this location so all the disciplines of motor racing are contained within one area.
