The article presents information on Lakeside Park, or Lakeside International Raceway, which is one of Australia's fastest circuits. It was closed in 2001 following a long financial struggle. On July 4, 2009 Queensland's only grand prix circuit was re-opened having been resurrected by the owners of Queensland Raceway. The new owners are continuing to push for more events at the circuit where it is set to host its biggest event since reopening.
