Australian Auto Action;8/26/2009, Issue 1355, p4
The article reports that V8 teams have rushed to book accommodation around Winton Raceway in anticipation of a return visit in place of Bahrain later in 2009. While V8 officials maintained that the Desert 400 was still scheduled for November 5-7, 2009, there was every sign that the event will be held over until February 2010. The sea freight consignment of tyres, team consumables and control E85 fuel that was due to leave for Bahrain by August 2009 hasn't left.
