ABSTRACT
This article looks at the condition of middle-market valuation multiples in the U.S. in the second quarter of 2009. According to a report from GF Data Resources LLC, middle-market valuation multiples remained strong in spite of the credit market crisis. Andrew Greenberg, chief executive officer (CEO) of GF, expects high-quality growth investments to rise in the third quarter as private equity firms intends to deploy capital in an improving economy.
