The article reports on Lotus Symphony software offered free of charge to Microsoft customers from IBM. It discusses key features of the software such as the capability to run different widgets to extend its productivity and the capability to run other platforms simultaneously. The launch of several new widgets designed to enhance Symphony's capabilities were mentioned as well.
