ABSTRACT
The article discusses the issue concerning the provision of access on-the-job route among professionals to children's social worker in Great Britain. The author relates that the career switchers scheme offers some problem to social work students such as salary which is crucial in motivating them to change career. Professor Joan Orme, mentions that it would successfully integrate the theory and in practice in social works considering that there are qualified workers who could provide the service.
