ABSTRACT
The article reports on the characteristics and behaviors of leaders as well as employee resistance to organizational change. Organizations are constantly changing, both in the public and private sector, due to changes in the business environment and in challenges faced by the organization. The success of an organizational change depends upon the actions of the leadership as well as the employees' attitude towards the change. Research conducted on both the macro and micro-level of organizational change has found that a leader's perception of the change directly influences their employees' perception.
