ABSTRACT
The article discusses the economic condition of Australian wine market. It states that although initially during the 1980s and 1990s had enjoyed an economic boom, the recent downturn can be blamed on the practice by the wine sector of constantly increasing prices and providing unconventional supply. The author remarks that the country's wine industry still has the chance to learn from its mistakes due to the lack of competent challengers in the market stake.
