ABSTRACT
The article reports that sales of commercial trailers in the U.S. have increased in the second quarter of 2009 compared to those in the fourth quarter of 2008 and the first quarter of 2009. Orders received in May of 2009 are still less than those received one year previously. Backlogs resulting from low production levels have also increased.
