ABSTRACT
The article presents an economic forecast, conducted by the Business Monitor International (BMI) Ltd., for the U.S. from 2009-2010. According to the BMI, long-term global growth forecasts have been revised downward from previous projected annual trend growth of 3.7% to 3.5%. The BMI says that due to upward revisions to key eurozone states and the U.S., the 2010 forecast for developed state growth rises from 0.6% to 11%. BMI projected emerging market growth to rebound from 0.4% this year to 3.9% in 2010.
