ABSTRACT
The article reports on the proposal on the government to review the governance and accountability of the Financial Ombudsman Service Ltd. (FOS) in Great Britain. It states that the FOS was set up under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 as a scheme to resolve minimum formality by an independent person. It implies that the defects in the FOS system about suing in the ordinary courts defects cause injustice because the issues are not explored.
