ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the study entitled "Global IT Spending Forecast for Risk Management: A Growth Opportunity for Business and Technology," by TowerGroup which expected the 6.15% increase in information technology (IT) spending on risk management in compound rate annually through 2012 in the U.S. The study noted that lapses in risk management methods made an impact on the industry. It forecasted that the trend in outsourcing software services related to risk management will increase.
