ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the efforts of banks on adopting analytics or computer software to provide their clients ways to control procurement and travel and entertainment (T&E) expenditures in 2009 in the U.S. Spendivision and Ariba Inc. provide analytics to view, manage and analyze procurement and travel. A study by CFO European Research Services discovered that 71% of chief financial officers (CFOs) believed that travel technology should be integrated with expense management systems.
