ABSTRACT
The article reports on the findings of the study "The State of U.S. Small Business Banking," which examined the issue on small businesses not having formal banking relationship. Principal analyst Brad Strothcamp at Forrester Research Inc. said that nine in 10 are sole proprietors, but banks do not have a strategy on formal relationship. Strothcamp mentioned Intuit Inc., whose personal financial management computer software, allowed personal account holders to classify expenses as business.
