ABSTRACT
The article presents a case study on the application of online social networking site LinkedIn in recruiting new employees for Union Bank Inc. in San Diego California. It refers to the bank's activity on the site which includes advertising the need for a branch manager, a software programmer, and a senior vice president of division operations and relationship manager. Furthermore, LinkedIn as well as the other social media have filled 20 percent of the bank's recruitment effort.
