ABSTRACT
The article provides information on the danger of lack of good medication management. It states that lack of coordination among hospitals and physicians is one of the consequences in healthcare delivery. Meanwhile, only 31% of U.S. population understands the adverse effect of drug intake. Moreover, it also mentions that "Safe & Sound - How to Prevent Medication Mishaps," program was created by the National Family Caregivers Association (NFCA) to offer safety information to the public.
