ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the journal's Mystery Shopper's search for a country house-style hotel with a spa for a mid-week break after the August bank holiday in Exeter, England. However, the consultants at First Choice and Thomas Cook Ltd. appeared to leave Mystery Shopper to do the work herself. If agents want to be seen as more than a brochure pick-up point, then they should do more than just hand over a brochure, says the author.
