ABSTRACT
This article reports on the acquisition of Barnhart Crane and Rigging assets by Platinum Equity's Maxim Crane Works LP. According to Maxim Chief Executive Art Innamorato, the asset acquisition adds to an investment of more than 60 million U.S. dollars made in the last 18 months to expand their fleet. Platinum Equity was able to complete almost 100 acquisitions with over 27.5 billion U.S. dollars in aggregate annual revenue since its founding in 1995.
