ABSTRACT
The article announces the decision of CCMP Capital Advisors LLC and Bancroft Private Equity LLP to withdraw their investments in Eastern Europe's Nowaco Czech Republic and Farutex via their sale of South Africa's Bidvest Group Ltd. Under the terms of the agreement, CCMP and Bancroft will tender 100 percent of their holdings in the two firms, which provide services for Central and Eastern European retail food and hospitality companies. According to Tom Walker, senior member of CCMP Capital Advisors, the businesses have developed organically.
